Teesnap Welcomes Green Harbor Golf Club

By November 19, 2018 No Comments

This week for our “Implementation of The Week,” we welcome Green Harbor Golf Club, located between Cape Cod and Boston in Marshfield, Massachusetts.  Since its opening in 1971, it has long been known as an impressively maintained course that the whole family can enjoy. In 1965, the Francis family purchased the Marshfield property and created a turf farm for the development of their Vesper Velvet bent grass. Velvet greens are unmatched for their consistent conditions and true putt ability and are a preferred turf for private golf courses all over the world. Green Harbor Golf Club opened as a public course in 1971 and features the same Vesper Velvet greens and conditions that those private courses benefit from. Beginner golfers appreciate the wide fairways while the lower handicapper is challenged by the shot-making accuracy that is required; a testament to this challenge is the standing course record of 67. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, and there are many sand bunkers on the course that are designed to keep this record intact. This course is a must for those golfers who want to experience the old world feel of a walking-only course

Two year ago, Manny Senior, passed away, leaving the family business to his wife, Judy Francis.  Judy still runs the operation as a family operated business, with her two daughters, Kerry Harrington and Wendy Jones, and Son Manny Francis Jr., running the day-to-day operation.  Just recently they underwent a large renovation to their lounge and are now open to functions and events with a supporting liquor and entertainment license, and looking for Teesnap to help in marketing not only their golf facility, but their all new venue for large outings, events, and weddings.

They immediately saw the value of Teesnap, and had a successful implementation with our very own Sean Cunningham, who is a part of our first class implementation team.  We are happy that we have yet another great course partner and the entire team is proud to welcome you to our family!

From your partner, the Teesnap Family
