We are very excited to have Allison George, the Wizard of Fun at her family’s golf course in Iowa, join us as Manager of Marketing! She will be managing the operations of our quickly growing MMS (Managed Marketing Service) program as well as Teesnap corporate marketing. Allison has a long background in golf course ownership and operations at her family owned facility! Toad Valley Golf Course was established in 1973, where Allison worked as a teen and young adult from 1987 – 1999, then returned in 2004 to take over the family business. In a family owned and operated business, she has experienced all of the components that make a golf course run including bookkeeping, HR, scheduling, payroll, events coordination, golf course maintenance, and YES the Sales & Marketing. In addition, she served on the Board of Directors for the NGCOA for a 7 year term.
In her early 20’s, Allison began designing websites which serve her well as she designed and maintains three websites that service her golf course. Her passion and study of digital marketing has been Allison’s strong suit, where she has grown to be very well known and respected as a successful marketer by her peers. I have personally known Allison since the early 2000’s where we attended several user and marketing conferences in the Chicago area, where she was always on the cutting edge of golf course marketing.
If you’re not familiar with Allison George, she’s most known for taking her course in Iowa from a few hundred thousand in total revenue to millions using smart digital marketing tactics to engage her golfers. After helping hundreds of operators with their own business she took the show on the road where you may have seen her keynote at NGCOA conferences, Canadian NGCOA conference, USGA Golf Symposium or perhaps you’ve read some of her stuff in Golf, Inc or Golf Business Magazine. In 2015, she was named by Golf, Inc. as the 8th Most Innovative People in Golf.
With her invaluable experience, MMS golf courses will jump to the head of the line when it comes to digital marketing and turning your website into a sales force. It has long been Allison’s goal to help the golf industry thrive and we’re excited to have her in this new role.

On Thursday at 10:15 a.m., Allison will be presenting How to Create a Sustainable Marketing Plan. In this session, she will show golf operators how to stay organized in the world of digital marketing.
